Sierra Nevada Aquatic Research Laboratory
18 May, 01 PM - 21 May, 10 AM
We are traveling through California and Oregon as part of a summer course on Geology of the Western United States. As we are located in Tennessee and have a student body primarily from the Southeast, active tectonics, glaciated mountains, recent volcanism, and arid/semiarid landscapes will be new to most of the attendees, so we will be generally exploring northern Owens Valley and the eastern Sierras. We would like to stay, cook, and eat at your facility, and study the local geology.
