Sierra Nevada Aquatic Research Laboratory
12 Oct, 03 PM - 18 Oct, 11 AM
The Dartmouth College Department of Earth Sciences' off-campus program takes undergraduate students throughout the American west to study geology. During our stay in Owens valley (and at SNARL), we will learn about the formation of the Sierra Nevada mountains, basin and range and associated volcanism, and Quaternary geology. We will conduct day-long projects investigating geological processes and mapping in particular Quaternary geology.
