We will be using SNARL as a base for a teaching fieldtrip, focusing on Mono Lake and nearby hydrothermal areas. We anticipate making a limited number of sample collections from the lake itself (of water) and maybe from some hydrothermal springs, for geochemical analyses as part of a class project. We do not otherwise intend to be conducting experiments on the reserve.
