Sierra Nevada Aquatic Research Laboratory
28 May, 10 AM - 30 May, 01 AM
We will be visiting various sites of geomorphic interest in and around SNARL. If we have the opportunity to stay at the station, we will spend time looking at the nearby moraines, alluvial fans, and streams. We would also be interested in learning about the research at SNARL (I have not been there before). If permitted, we may excavate small pits (no more than 50cm depth and 40cm diameter) into the moraines and alluvial fan to examine relative soil development.
