In 2011, we will be resurveying amphibian populations throughout Yosemite National Park to quantify distributions and populations trends. This will require revisiting approximately 300 sites that were first surveyed during the period 1992-2001 and conducted a detailed amphibian survey. If amphibians are present, skin swabs will be collected from up to 10 animals to determine the degree of infection with the amphibian chytrid fungus.
