We will be visiting many of the classic features associated in and around the Long Valley Caldera and the Mono Basin. These include a trip to Devils Postpile, Mammoth Hot Creek, the Mono and Inyo Craters, Owen's River Gorge and the Hilton Creek fault. We attempt to explain the geologic features and natural history. We do not allow sample collecting of any kind.
