Sierra Nevada Aquatic Research Laboratory
02 Jul, 03 AM - 03 Jul, 08 AM
The purpose of this visit is to dig up and collect queen offspring (larvae and pupae) of P. salinus. I will collect from 3-4 colonies in the area surounding SNARL and maybe a few on the reserve if others are difficult to find. Dirt will be replaced immediately after collecting and colonies will not be marked. I will stay 2 nights in Mammoth Lakes and will not need accomodation at SNARL. Two other people will be helping me with the field work.
