Santa Cruz Island Reserve

This trip to the Santa Cruz Island Natural Reserve is planned as part of a week long visit to UCSB by the APRU Summer Fellows. The theme of the 2004 APRU Fellows Program is "Globalization and Environmental Sustainability - Multidisciplinary Perspectives." During the visit, the Fellows would like to tour the island as arranged by the Natural Reserve Director, Lyndal Laughrin, and visit any ongoing research projects/sites. Their activities will be observational only.The Fellows will require pick-up and drop-off at the dock and overnight accomodations at the field station. The supervised tours of the island may require multiple jeeps or trucks and possible a boat.
