Santa Cruz Island Reserve

We, the Royal Geologic Society of Goleta, wish to explore the geology and natural history of Santa Cruz Island. Lead by Jim Boles, we will drive to points of geologic interest and hike to the rocks. We will discuss the geology of SCI as a whole, and delve into the details at the outcrops. Additionally, we will use this excursion to get to know one another and introduce new graduate students to the beauty of the Central Coast of California.
