Santa Cruz Island Reserve

The class will produce art works that investigate the environment of santa cruz island in a variety of ways. Projects could also discuss/examine scientific research taking place at Santa Cruz island. The projects could take the form of drawings, paintings, sculptures, writing, installations, performances, photography etc. Most of the work produced will most likely be finalized back on campus in the weeks that follows after the stay, but some work such as performances, might be fully realized on the island. The class would benefit form a common room to use for discussions, otherwise most work should be conducted outside. No disturbances to the ecosystem or cultural resources will be made.
