Santa Cruz Island Reserve

I will be meeting with Dr. Matt Des Lauriers and his graduate student John Eddy from CSU Northridge to accomplish two goals:1. Assist John Eddy in his search for outcrops of chlorite schist that may have been quarried prehistorically (which will entail driving along the South Ridge Road and spot-checking from there).2. Engage in some logistical planning for the research project we will be doing from July 15-29 (which will entail driving and walking around the Central Valley).
