Santa Cruz Island Reserve

This course explores the basics of Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) including systems, antennas, acquisition, processing, and imaging, as well as interpretation and characterization. Participants have the unique opportunity to be part of an archeological survey taking place on Santa Cruz Island in the vicinity of Christy Ranch. Note: instructors will explore specific sites prior to the course fieldtrip. Explorative trip will be arranged for early June. Reservations will be made as soon as possible.Thank you.
