Santa Cruz Island Reserve

We will be conducting an outdoor education program for Laguna Blanca School. We will be studying island ecology, tide pools, birds of prey, geology, astronomy. We will bring all of our own equipment. Teambuilding, Native American skills (Chumash), and communication skills will be taught. We will also be kayaking through an approved kayaking company. Our philosophy is respect for all plants, animals, and persons that are encountered. We believe in exploration with low impact.We would like to use the kitchen, bathrooms, a place to tent camp, and rooms for the adults.
