Some need-based bus scholarships are available. If you will be requesting a bus scholarship please give us an estimate of the cost of the bus: The bus cost is 84 cents per mile and $35.00 per hour. (Approximately 20 miles round trip). A formal estimate from Transportation will be forwarded. Comments (special arrangements, etc.): This would be a great opportunity to enhance our life science unit  Maybe an environmental rehabilitation experience, tree or seed planting. If you have done one of our field trips in the past, what did you feel worked best for you? Yes, the leaders involved have all been great. Students really enjoyed the experience. As you know, we have high expectations for students when it comes to behavior. What would you like to see: additional themes, modules, other improvements)? In the past group rotations got a bit off and some students had less time at stations to make them effective. A focus on adaptations and ecosystems would be beneficial.
