Driving within the BCCER
The BCCER provides transportation for all educational and research activities. If granted permission to drive a personal vehicle beyond HQ, the driver must adhere to our driving protocol. A separate release of liability form, specific for personal vehicle use, will need to be signed. All roads within the BCCER are dirt and are maintained by the staff. Proper driving on the roads will lessen negative impacts:
- 4x4 vehicles only
- Slow, controlled driving throughout the BCCER
- Driving over water bars properly to ensure the integrity
- Avoiding muddy/saturated areas
