As a follow up of our last visit, this time we will focus our work on the chemical interactions between planktonic microorganisms in the reef lagoon and the open ocean. In particular, we will investigates the exchange of sulfur compounds and vitamins, and their involvement in nitrogen fixation and predator/prey interactions.
