We plan to track the settlement of juvenile corals into bite scars under different spatial and temporal intensities for parrotfish grazing behavior using non-destructive, fluorescence imaging techniques. Additionally, we plan to sample the endolithic bacterial and algal community living in the top millimeters of dead coral substrate.
