Elliott Chaparral Reserve

The purpose of this trip is to assess reproductive success of Hesperoyucca whipplei populations, to collect a sample of the seeds from yuccas that flowered last spring, and to measure growth and survival of non-flowering yuccas. This work will be conducted in the area of the Elliot Chaparral Reserve where we have established permanent quadrats (the eastern portion of the reserve).
