Elliott Chaparral Reserve

My research will involve cutting on very small portions of plant to measure their water and photosynthetic status in the field. I will also need to remove small sample from the reserve to calculate leaf size, woody density, and sapwood to leaf area ratios. These samples will be a very small amount of the entire leaf area of the plant, on the order of twigs 4-12 inches long. I will not be bringing any plant material on to the reserve, and I will not be setting up any long term manipulation.
