HELIX biologist, Doug Allen, will be conducted vegetation mapping and general botanical and zoological surveys on site. Doug will need to work outside the right-of-way on its western side. Please provide us with the gate code so that he can access this area. He will be in a white Ford Ranger truck, license plate #6R5023. Care will be taken to avoid or to take due precautions around hazards, including unstable ground and likely rattlesnake habitat. Care will be taken to prevent any impacts to wildlife, including newly hatched herptiles, especially Coast Horned Lizards, which are known to occur, sometimes in large numbers, in the CWA easement. A copy of the report will be submitted to the Natural Reserve System upon completion. The presence of non-native flora or fauna should will brought to your attention separately.
